The DMC-G10SC media converter converts a 100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet standard signal over a twisted pair into a 1000Base-LX Gigabit Ethernet standard signal over a single-mode optical cable, which allows you to increase the connection distance (up to 10 km) between two devices. This media converter is equipped with one port with RJ-45 connector for twisted pair and one optical port with SC connector.
