The NFC-chips NTAG213 and NTAG216 developed by NXP Semiconductors have taken a firm place in the market of contactless chips. This technology complies with the ISO/IEC14443 Type A standard, using a frequency of 13.56 MHz.

The NTAG213 / NTAG216 smart card is used as a discount, accumulation, bonus, payment or identification card. Made of white PVC (polyvinyl chloride), providing the possibility of personalization: application on both sides of a color image, for example, a photo, logo, text. The NFC chip is easily read using a smartphone, when the card is held up to a mobile device, information from the chip appears on the smartphone screen.
