A pair of optical modules installed at different ends of the communication line is used to organize the WDM connection. For example, the FoxGate SFP-1SM-1310nm-xxSC module - uses a wavelength of 1550 nm for data reception and 1310 nm for data transmission, i.e. 1310TX / 1550RX. And the FoxGate SFP-1SM-1550nm-xxSC module uses a wavelength of 1310 nm for data reception and 1550 nm for data transmission, i.e. 1550TX / 1310RX. Transceivers (Transceivers) FoxGate SFP-1SM-1310nm-xxSC and FoxGate SFP-1SM-1550nm-xxSC support operation with a single-mode optical cable 9/125 μm and provide data transmission at a distance of 10, 20, 40, 80, 120, 140 km. Transceivers are equipped with 1 optical port with SC connector and allow "hot" replacement and installation. Models with index d support the technology of continuous remote diagnostics (DDM).
