SFP module Mikrotik S-85DLC05D
The Mikrotik company is quite progressive and always follows market trends. Modern optical fiber communication lines were no exception. Thus, the company released several novelties equipped with ports for installing SFP modules, including routers: Mikrotik Cloud Core Router CCR1036-12G-4S, some models of the Mikrotik RB2011 family (with the index S in the name) and the Mikrotik RB260GS switch.
Immediately after the release of these devices, the company offered its fans a whole range of SFP modules under its own brand. Which are not only able to provide high-quality fiber optic communication, but also maximum compatibility with Mikrotik routers.
One of them is the SFP module S-85DLC05D. This is a 1.25G SFP transceiver that fully complies with the Small Form-factor Pluggable industry standard. It works in the wave spectrum of 850nm and is able to provide data transmission over multimode (Multi Mode) optical communication lines at a distance of up to 550 meters. It has two connectors of the LC standard (Dual LC).
