Step4Net SFPd-80-1490-WDM modules are designed for organizing the connection of one fiber of a 9 / 125μm single-mode optical cable using WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology.
The SFPd-80-1490-WDM module works in tandem with the module SFPd-80-1550-WDM. At the same time, the SFPd-80-1490-WDM module transmits data at a wavelength of 1490nm, and receives data at a wavelength of 1550nm. On the other hand, the SFPd-80-1550-WDM module transmits data at a wavelength of 1550nm and receives data at a wavelength of 1490nm. The modules provide data transmission at a speed of 1.25Gbps / 1.063Gbps at a distance of up to 80 km. The transceivers are equipped with one optical port with an LC connector (SFPd-80-1490-WDM-LC module) or SC (SFPd-80-1490-WDM-SC module).
