Smoke detector Ajax FireProtect White (7956) Wireless smoke detection sensor Ajax FireProtect White (7956) is designed to detect a fire in a protected room. The sensor detects smoke with the help of an infrared emitter and photo receiver. The elements are mounted in a special smoke chamber. When smoke particles enter the camera, the photo receiver detects the distortion of the infrared beam. If there is a lot of smoke, the beam distortion becomes strong, the sensor sends wireless fire alarm signals to the smart Ajax Hub and the siren is activated.
