The Ajax EN54 FireProtect Heat/Sounder is a wireless certified fire heat detector with a built-in siren that complies with EN 54-5 (heat detector classes A1/A1R/A1S, B/BR/BS, C/CR/CS) and EN 54-3 (sound warning). The device is designed to protect premises where the smoke detector is less effective: kitchens, garages, workshops, technical premises. It reacts to reaching a critical temperature or its rapid growth by activating the built-in siren with a volume of up to 85 dB. The device is equipped with protection against sabotage (Tamper), detection of jamming of the radio signal and synchronization of the work of all detectors in the system. The sensors of the detector analyze the change in temperature: they react both to exceeding the set threshold and to abnormally fast growth. When triggered, the siren activates a sound signal that complies with EN 54-3, simultaneously with a visual LED indication. All devices in the system simultaneously notify of danger. Power is provided by a pre-installed CR123A/CR2 battery, which guarantees up to 5 years of autonomous operation at a standard polling interval of 36 seconds. An additional backup CR2032 battery supports the Tamper protection function. The installation of the detector is simplified as much as possible thanks to the SmartBracket bracket, which allows you to install the device without disassembly. Connection to the system takes place in a few seconds through a mobile application and a QR code. The LED indication makes it easy to check the status of the device. The Ajax EN54 FireProtect Heat/Sounder transmits all events to a central monitoring panel or security company via supported protocols (Contact ID, ADEMCO 685, SIA), including activation, faults, communication status and battery level.
