The laser cartridge consists of a waste toner compartment and a toner compartment. The waste toner compartment includes the photo drum, primary charge shaft, cleaning blade and drum sealing blade. The toner compartment includes a magnetic shaft, a toner dosing blade, a sealing blade of the magnetic shaft, a toner hopper and a sealing check. The primary charge shaft is a part of the laser cartridge that, pressing evenly against the surface of the photo drum, transmits a uniform negative charge to it.
After passing the paper medium through the photo drum, the primary charge shaft neutralizes residual phenomena on the photo drum pre-charge. The primary charging shaft HP LJ 2100/2200/2300/4000/4100/4200 AHK (2600220) consists of a metal shaft on which a layer of conductive foam or rubber is applied. The part of the laser cartridge gets quite dirty with paper dust, so it needs to be cleaned regularly and thoroughly.
