Also, the sensor is protected from unauthorized exposure (hanging, painting, varnishing), works at temperatures below 0 ° C, protected from splashes and dust, the range of operation is adjustable (up to 30 meters). The principle of operation of Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor is based on the detection of infrared (IR) radiation from a living being. Every living being, including man, is a source of IR radiation. The sensor is equipped with two independent passive IR sensors. The obtained data are checked using the two-factor ELSA algorithm: detection of similarities between signals from both sensors, as well as spectral images. This makes it possible to avoid false alarms, and also allows you to adjust the range of the sensor (up to 30 meters, 15 meters in each direction). The sensor is easily installed and configured without special knowledge: installation on the SmartBracket is convenient and will not harm repairs, connection to the central unit is made through the mobile application in literally one click. The device is ready to work out of the box, even the battery is installed. The sensor works only with the Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus and the ReX repeater. Connection to the Hub and ocBridge Plus and uartBridge integration modules is not provided!
