Photo drum HP LJ M102/M130/M203/M134 is one of the main parts of copiers and printers. Structurally, it is a metal cylinder (usually aluminum), covered with a layer of photoconductive material - a dielectric, the electrical resistance of which drops sharply under the influence of light radiation. The photo drum is designed to first form a hidden electrostatic image of the document (exposure) on the photosensitive surface, and then obtain a visible (manifestation) image formed by toner particles and, then, transfer this image to paper. The photo drum is characterized by high reliability and a long service life and ease of maintenance.
