Unifi 6 Pro is a high-speed Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard access point with increased capacity for systems with a large number of devices. The bandwidth of the Unifi 6 Pro access point exceeds 5.3 gigabit, consisting of 4.8 Gbit at the 5GHz 4x4 frequency and more than 570 Mbit at the 2.4GHz 2x2 band, and allows to ensure the connection of more than 300 clients. The purpose of U6-Pro is Wi-Fi coverage in corporate and home systems with a high density of devices. Built-in MIMO antennas with a gain factor of 4 and 6 dBi are responsible for fast, reliable communication in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, respectively. Unifi 6 Pro is backward compatible with previous IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, so there is no need to replace the fleet of client devices. At the same time, widespread Wi-Fi 5 equipment of the 802.11ac standard will be able to reach a new level of data exchange speed, reaching 3.4 gigabits per second, thanks to an increase in the channel width to 160 MHz. To simplify installation and configuration, the Unifi 6 Pro will receive a Bluetooth wireless interface, similar to the one already equipped with the UniFi 6 Long-Range access point. The new access point supports a power supply voltage range from 44 to 57V DC, supplied by PoE+ technology, through a standard Ethernet cable. Secure data transmission is ensured by the isolation of guest traffic and support for the WPA3 algorithm in new versions of the UniFi Network controller. Access points with the PRO index remain relevant for a long time, up to 10 years. The Unifi 6 Pro mounts will likely follow the current UniFi AC Pro variant, allowing for easy system upgrades.
