This cable tester can be used to determine the condition of the cable both before and after its installation. The device has two testing speeds (survey of connections), consists of an active and a passive part. The detachable passive module during testing is connected to the remote end of the cable, which allows one technician to test the line. The active module continuously polls the state of the connection of each wire in the cable.
