The need for lamination arises quite often, as many documents require intensive use (passes, certificates, powers of attorney, working drawings, book covers, etc.), and which means they should have high wear resistance with minimal loss of appearance over a long period of time.
Envelope films consist of two layers of film, soldered together on one narrow side.
Paper is placed in such an envelope and the film is passed through a laminator.
