The metering blade is a polyurethane or metal blade that regulates the amount of toner delivered to the magnetic shaft. Participates in the process of triboelectric charge of the toner, which ensures very accurate transfer of the photo to the photo drum. As well as other parts, the metering blade itself must meet high quality requirements in terms of dimensional accuracy and rigidity, otherwise your cartridge will not function normally. A damaged metering blade may apply toner unevenly on the surface of the magnetic shaft, which, in turn, will lead to uneven transfer of powder to the photo drum itself and, as a result, will lead to poor print quality. In order to ensure uniform distribution of toner on the magnetic shaft, the dosing blade must be of high quality, without dents and dents.
