Primary charge shaft HP P1005/1006/1007/1008/1505 EVERPRINT (EVP-PCRH1005) is a part of the laser cartridge, which, being evenly pressed against the surface of the photo drum, transfers a uniform negative charge to it. After passing the paper medium through the photo drum, the shaft of the primary charge neutralizes the residual effects of the previous charge on the photo drum. The primary charge shaft consists of a metal shaft on which a layer of conductive foam or rubber is applied.
The primary charge shaft of HP P1005/1006/1007/1008/1505 EVERPRINT (EVP-PCRH1005) is quite heavily contaminated with paper dust. When it fails, various defects and inaccuracies appear during printing - for example, a repeated image, a gray background on the entire page, random dots on the page, etc. Most of these defects can appear in winter, when humidity is low, and not in summer, when humidity is high.
