Primary charge shaft HP 1010/1012/1015 EVERPRINT (EVP-PCRH1010) is a part of the laser cartridge, which, pressing evenly against the surface of the photo drum, transfers a uniform negative charge to it. After passing the paper medium through the photo drum, the shaft of the primary charge neutralizes the residual effects of the previous charge on the photo drum. The shaft of the primary charge consists of a metal shaft on which a layer of conductive foam or rubber is applied.
