EM-Marine Clamshell contactless card is a plastic card with a thickness of 1.8 mm that works at a distance of up to 10 cm from the reading device (card reader), the most common and easy to use on the Ukrainian market. Unlike Mifare contactless cards, the EM-Marine card carries only a UID (УИД) - a unique identifier, without additional memory that can be rewritten. Due to the fact that EM-Marine Clamshell the card has a thickness of 1.8 mm, it can be with or without a slot for attaching a badge. A feature is an enlarged antenna around the entire perimeter to accelerate and increase the reading distance. The purpose of the EM-Marine Clamshell contactless card is to organize access to premises (hospitals, institutes, schools, hotels, sanatoriums, state institutions) and places of rest (hotels, attractions), to automatic parking lots and parking lots; keys for systems accounting and access control (ACC); accounting of the route of the movement of employees (managers, drivers, sales representatives, etc.); making a pass to the premises of access control and accounting of working hours in commercial organizations and industrial facilities. The EM-Marine Clamshell contactless card is also compatible with the ACS: STOP-net, ITV U-prox, Iron Logic, Golden Gate, Fortnet. The EM-Marine card contains an individual code up to 64 in size that is quite small in size and will not be overwritten the bit that the reader reads and identifies. The principle of operation Due to the fact that Em-Marine cards belong to the class of passive devices and do not have a built-in power source, the number of cycles of their reading is not limited, which significantly increases their wear resistance and service life, for the same reason, the TK4100 ISO card does not emit a permanent electromagnetic signal and does not have a negative impact on the health of people and animals. Em-Marine Clamshell card recognition mechanism reader and reading the card code is based on contactless remote radio frequency technology called Proximity. Inside any passive proxy card is an electronic microcircuit consisting of a capacitor, an inductor (antenna) and an integrated circuit (chip), in the memory of which a unique identification code is stored. The proximity reader constantly emits a radio signal at a frequency of 125 kHz. Once within the range of this radio signal, the proximity card is activated and sends a signal in response, which contains its unique identification code.
