Alternate fan rotation
Gigabyte's patented Alternate Spinning technology is a unique solution that optimally distributes turbulent flows according to cooling system based on three fans. The biggest problem with such systems is turbulence. In that case, if the direction of rotation of the fans coincides, there is a high probability of the occurrence of turbulent flows (swirls of air masses between adjacent fans), which reduce the efficiency of the calculated heat removal scheme. Gigabyte engineers proposed an original version of the interaction of three fans, when the central fan rotates in an alternative direction. Therefore, it is possible to optimize the distribution of air flows between fans and significantly reduce the negative effect of turbulence.

3D Active fans
Using 3D Active technology, a semi-passive cooling scheme is organized, the fans remain turned off when the GPU is in a state of reduced load, serving non-resource-intensive programs.
