Ubiquiti LTU-LR Wi-Fi access point

Ubiquiti LTU LR (LTU-LR) is a long-distance subscriber station with an integrated antenna operating in the 5 GHz radio range. The device functions as a CPE in a point-to-multipoint (PtMP) environment with LTU Rocket as a base station.

LTU proprietary technology

Based on Ubiquiti's LTU technology, LTU LR is not limited to the capabilities of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi technology. Its customizable LTU chip and radio architecture provide real-world TCP/IP throughput of up to 600+ Mbps and modulation rates up to 4096QAM.

Frequency distribution

LTU LR can use different frequencies for TX and RX to avoid interference.

Increased resistance

LTU LR directs radio frequency energy into a narrower beam. Focusing in one direction, the LTU LR blocks or spatially filters noise to improve stability. This is especially important in an area filled with other radio signals of the same or similar frequency.

Ubiquiti InnerFeed technology integrates the radio module into the antenna radiator with a gain of 26 dBi, so there is no need for a cable. This increases performance as it eliminates cable losses. The flexibility of the channel width allows you to independently adjust the frequency of the TX and RX channels in any segment of the radio range to avoid local interference. Channel width options include: 20/30/40/50 MHz.

You have two options for managing the LTU LR: the LTU configuration interface and the Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS). Either of these options allows you to manually configure the LTU LR. In the LTU configuration interface, you can manually configure the LTU LR or control from the access point side using the "Find Access Point" function. LTU LR will automatically scan access points using the same channel bandwidth. Select the desired access point and then use it to configure the LTU LR.
