MikroTik wAP (model RBwAP2nD) is an inexpensive street Wi-Fi access point at 2.4 GHz with two built-in omnidirectional antennas.

The device is mainly intended for distributing Internet via Wi-Fi in the yard of a private house, in a park, on the summer terrace of a cafe or restaurant. The moisture-proof case allows you to operate the RBwAP2nD at temperatures from -40 ° C to + 70 ° C.

The Wi-Fi point can also be installed indoors on the wall or ceiling. The body of the device has a hole for hidden cable entry, so the cable is not visible and it does not spoil the look of your interior.

MikroTik wAP has one LAN port of 100 Mbit / s for connecting a "twisted pair" cable. The LAN port supports power supply to the device using PoE technology. A power supply unit with a PoE injector is included in the delivery set.

On the lower side of the case there is a metal fastener. When installing a wireless hotspot on a wall or ceiling, first a metal bracket is screwed to the wall, and then the housing is screwed to this bracket. The plastic ties included in the delivery are intended for installing the device on a mast or pipe.

The cover of the device is closed with a special non-standard screw that protects the RBwAP2nD from access by outsiders.
