Mikrotik cAP Wi-Fi access point (RBcAP2nD)

Wi-Fi access point Mikrotik cAP (RBcAP2nD) is the first "ceiling" access point from Mikrotik. Mikrotik cAP-2n works in the 2.4 GHz frequency range and supports IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless communication standards. The output power of the radio module is 17dBm, and the built-in antenna has a gain of 2dBi.

This access point is built on the basis of one of the most popular modern network processors Atheros AR9331-AL1A with a clock frequency of 300MHz. Despite the low clock frequency, this processor in connection with the built-in RAM of 32MB allows the access point to cope with fairly high loads.

One 10/100Mbit/s Fast Ethernet port is used for connection to wired networks, through which power is also supplied using PoE technology, with a voltage of 12-56V direct current. And the power consumption does not exceed 2W.
