Wi-Fi access point Mikrotik cAP lite (RBcAPL-2nD) - another small access point from the cAP line from Mikrotik. The difference between the lite version and its predecessor is the presence of an additional wall case. Now the access point can be easily mounted not only on the ceiling (like СAP), but also on the wall.

In this version, the manufacturer paid a lot of attention to the design of the device. First, the access point itself has fairly compact dimensions and is inconspicuous, so it will easily fit into any design. Secondly, designers offer the user files with different designs for a 3D printer.

cAP lite has 64 MB of RAM and a QCA9533 650 MHz processor, which allows it to withstand fairly high loads. The device works with a 2.4 GHz radio module and complies with 802.11n / g / b standards. However, everything is the same as in cAP 2nD.

However, the hardware part of cAP lite is slightly different from its predecessor. The ceiling case has a diameter of 88 mm, while the cAP 2nD has as many as 185. In addition, the lite version is equipped with an older version of the radio module - QCA9531 and has a weaker antenna gain - 1.5dBi.

The access point has only one 10 / 100Mbit / s port for connecting to the network. cAP lite supports PoE technology, respectively via Fast Ethernet, also connected to a 5-60V power source. The maximum power consumption of the device is 4W.
