Repeaters expand the boundaries of the protected area and give even more freedom in choosing the locations of security system devices. By connecting all or only part of the devices to ReX 2, you will ensure the security and automation of a business center, estate, warehouse complex, or large production. In the Ajax system, 5 repeaters can work, expanding the coverage of the radio network to 35 km2. Events and alarms arrive instantly, and the first picture of photo verification is delivered to the monitoring panel and users in just 13 seconds.

ReX 2 works with motion sensors MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor. Having identified a person, they take a series of pictures, and allow to dynamically assess what is happening at the object. To save users from unnecessary worry and security companies from useless patrols.

Guaranteed alarm delivery and photo confirmation

To guarantee reliable communication, we equipped ReX 2 with four antennas and support for two specialized radio protocols: Jeweler and Wings. Jeweler is responsible for transmitting commands, events and alarms, while Wings provides packet transmission of snapshots. Two-way Ajax radio communication uses frames to synchronize device communication sessions, authentication to exclude forgery and encryption to protect against data theft.

The next major update of OS Malevich will allow one Ajax system to cover office centers with underground parking lots, sectional metal hangars and warehouse complexes of several large buildings. With the update of the operating system, ReX 2 will be able to connect to the hub not only by radio, but also by Ethernet 4 - using a wire as the only or second communication channel.

Strengthens the security system

ReX 2 works as another smart central unit: it combines sensors into an autonomous group and takes control at the right moment. Thanks to automatic adjustment of signal strength and frame synchronization, you can connect any number of system devices to ReX 2 - the reliability of communication will not suffer from this. If for some reason the radio communication with the hub is interrupted, the ReX 2 will receive an alarm signal from the sensor and turn on the siren to draw attention to the event and scare off the intruder.

Ready to confront intruders

ReX 2 is protected against attacks at the software and hardware levels. It runs on the OS Malevich operating system, which is immune to viruses. All data transmitted by the repeater is encrypted. Thanks to the built-in backup battery, a sudden power outage at the site will not be a problem.

Simple installation

The ReX 2 connection and configuration process saves the installation engineer's time as much as possible. To add a repeater to the system, it is enough to scan the QR code with the Ajax application, assign it a name and a room. Device configuration is also done in the application in real time. If necessary, ReX 2 can be disabled or reconfigured without leaving the protected object.
