A patch cord is a segment of a multi-core symmetrical exhaust cable terminated in factory conditions with RJ-45 (8p8c) connectors, which significantly increases the reliability of the connection. Category 6 patch cord is mainly used in complex structural cable server systems and telecommunications installations. Category 6 cable provides a network connection with a data transfer speed of 10 Gbit/s and is, to a greater extent, an industrial standard. In addition, it has a higher level of protection against electromagnetic influence and is practically immune to interference.
