The Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM lens has two aspherical elements that provide image clarity in all areas of the frame throughout the focus range and at wide apertures. Ideal image quality is also ensured by two low dispersion (UD) elements, which are used to eliminate chromatic aberrations and associated halos. The lens offers the shortest focal length in all of Canon's famous professional L series, as well as an angle of view of 114, which is surpassed only by the Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 lens.
