D-Link DMC-1002 module

The chassis-based modular media converter control module is the brain of the system. The module houses a 32-bit, high-performance RISC microprocessor that executes the operating system program in real time. It supports SNMP management, WEB-based management and console management.



In normal mode D-Link DMC-1002 SNMP strong> interrogates all modules of media converters and power sources in their domains, accumulating information about their configurations, status, and set parameters. DMC-1002 reports the status of managed modules via SNMP, WEB, Telnet or console.



It is possible to protect DMC-1002 with a password against unauthorized access. Software updates can be downloaded to the DMC-1002 module via web or tftp.
