Media converter TP-Link MC100CM

TP-Link MC100CM -  it is a media converter used for signal conversion and subsequent connection of a 100BASE-FX fiber optic cable to a 100Base-TX twisted pair and vice versa. Designed specifically for IEEE 802.3 u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, the MC100CM media converter is designed for use with multimode fiber optic cable connected via SC connector. When transmitting and receiving data, the converter operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm and belongs to the class of devices that use a long-wave laser (LX) for transmission at maximum speed.

Among other functions of this device, it should be noted the possibility of using the media converter as an independent product (the MC100CM does not require a mounting chassis) or together with a 19" TP-LINK chassis with support for Auto MDI/MDI-X, automatic matching in duplex mode for the TX port, and also equipped with LED status indicators.The MC100CM allows you to extend the fiber channel up to 2 km by using a multimode fiber cable
