Router Mikrotik RB4011iGS+RM

The Mikrotik RB4011iGS + RM router is equipped with a quad-core Cortex A15 CPU manufactured by Annapurna labs, an Amazon company (the same as the carrier-class RB1100AHx4 device).

The product is equipped with 1 GB of RAM, which allows it to easily perform any task assigned to RouterOS. RB4011 can provide PoE output power on ten ports. And all this functionality is placed in a compact, professionally made, durable metal case of matte black color. The kit includes two brackets that allow you to firmly install the product in a rack, occupying a standard height of 1U.

The RB4011 series are extremely powerful routers with ten gigabit Ethernet ports, one ten gigabit interface that provides additional connectivity via an SFP+ module (sold separately) and IPsec hardware acceleration at a great price!

Products of the Latvian company MikroTik are network equipment. MikroTik develops, implements and installs wired and wireless routers, as well as accompanying equipment and operating systems. MikroTik was founded in 1995 as an emerging market hardware vendor. In 2007, more than 70 people were already employed in the company's staff.

The router and OS manufactured by MikroTik were chosen for the implementation of the African WLAN project, and for the construction of the network infrastructure in Mali, due to such advantages as low cost, flexibility, popularity and user-friendliness of the interface. In 2008, it was decided that only MikroTik brand equipment would be used to build the network infrastructure in a Brazilian municipality.

As part of the Uruguayan programs called OLPC, a nationwide wireless network was created in schools based on the products of this manufacturer. About two hundred thousand Uruguayan students received laptops connected to network equipment made by the Latvian company Mikrotik.
