Network switch Mikrotik RB260GSP (CSS106-1G-4P-1S)

Mikrotik RB260GSP network switch is one of the modifications of the managed switch from Mikrotik. And despite its miniature size and low cost, it has a number of features that distinguish it from most other similar devices.

The main difference of the RB260GSP is that it can act as a PoE injector. All five of its ports can supply power to other devices, such as wireless access points, etc., thus saving you from additional wires and power supplies.

In the same way, this switch is equipped with five gigabit ports and one SFP slot for installing an SFP module and connecting to a fiber optic network without using additional means of media conversion.

Mikrotik RB260GSP, like most switches of this series, is built using a Taifatech TF470 processor and equipped with 96K SRAM RAM. And all switching is based on the Atheros AR8327 chip, which combines five 10/100/1000Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet ports and one SFP cage port.

The RB260GSP itself is powered by an external power supply unit or by PoE technology through the first Ethernet port.
