Mikrotik CRS328-24P-4S + RM network switch - managed PoE-switch of the 3rd level with 24 gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 SFP + optical ports. Optical ports support SFP 1.25G and SFP + 10G modules (not included). The device can also be used as a router. The PoE switch supports various power standards and determines them automatically.

The product is made in a 1U case with a built-in 100-240V AC power supply with a power of 500W. The device consumes up to 44W, providing a guaranteed power supply of 450W (3 x 150W for every 8 Ethernet ports) for your PoE devices. Each port can provide up to 30W with any output power you choose.

The Mikrotik CRS328-24P-4S + RM network switch has a dual boot function that allows you to choose between two operating systems - RouterOS or SwOS. If you prefer to have a simplified operating system with only certain features, use SwOS. If you want to use routing and other layer 3 functions in your CRS, use RouterOS.

Latvian MikroTik company's product is network equipment. MikroTik develops, implements and installs wired and wireless routers, as well as accompanying equipment and operating systems. The company MikroTik was formed in 1995 as an equipment distributor in the developing market.

In 2007, the company's staff already employed more than 70 people. The router and OS manufactured by MikroTik were chosen for the implementation of the African WLAN project, and for the construction of the network infrastructure in Mali, due to such advantages as low cost, flexibility, popularity and user-friendliness of the interface. In 2008, it was decided that only MikroTik brand equipment would be used to build the network infrastructure in a Brazilian municipality.

As part of Uruguayan programs called OLPC, a nationwide wireless network was created in schools based on this manufacturer's products. About two hundred thousand Uruguayan students received laptops connected to network equipment made by the Latvian company Mikrotik.
