HP 1820 switches are equipped with a new intuitive graphical web interface with an improved navigation panel. Even users without technical education can manage them. The HP 1820 series switches are ideal for organizations that need a simple solution. There are six different rack-mount models, including three models without Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. Some models are equipped with SFP ports for fiber optic connections.
The switch also supports configurable functions: virtual LAN, Spanning Tree, channel aggregation and IGMP Snooping. All models support RSTP protocol and DSCP QoS policies. All models in this series provide flexible installation options: they can be mounted on a wall, under a table or on a table. Some models are equipped with fans, making them an ideal solution for offices.
The HP 1820 series switches support the latest energy-saving features, such as Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), powering off inactive ports and PoE port scheduling.
