Principle of operation
In video surveillance systems, FTP Cat 5e cable is used to connect video signal transmitters and receivers, which in turn are connected to video surveillance cameras and video recorders. Thanks to the resistance to electromagnetic interference and, in general, a low level of losses, it allows placing the elements of the video surveillance system at greater distances than when using a coaxial cable.
