The Japanese company TOWA has been engaged in the development and production of labeling equipment (applicators, label-guns, needle guns) since its foundation in 1968.

The company's calling card is a self-developed mechanism for stretching the label, which automatically determines the height of the label and adjusts the stretching in such a way that the label extends exactly to the required distance, no more and no less.

Presented here is the TOWA APN-30 applicator model with a roll diameter of 100 mm and for label sizes from 20 x 20 mm to 30 x 60 mm.

The principle of operation of the applicator is very simple. The scrolling mechanism begins to operate immediately after pressing the handle of the applicator. At the same time, the front part of the substrate applicator is bent at an angle and part of the label is separated from the substrate (approximately 3-5 mm). The other part is separated after running a rubber roller over the surface of the product packaging.
