Ajax MotionProtect black (5314) motion sensor can be used to protect any objects: apartments, private houses, cottages, offices, shops, warehouses, industrial premises, etc. It is designed to detect human movement indoors. The sensor has adjustable sensitivity and is able to ignore pets weighing up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm in height. The principle of operation of the sensor is based on the detection of infrared (IR) radiation from a living being. A special algorithm for processing the incoming signal provides an additional check of the object regarding mass and the presence of movement, minimizes false alarms from moving pets. Thus, the sensor does not respond to the movement of inanimate objects. If in the room, for example, a jacket falls from the hanger, or a draft opens the interior door, the sensor will not work. In addition, the sensor has a state-of-the-art highly reliable communication system, which allows it to work successfully within several floors of a business center or at a distance of up to 2000 m in an open area from a central alarm unit.
