The multifunctional cable tester manufactured by Benetech is designed for testing cables with RJ-45 and RJ-11 connectors, as well as individual conductors and conductor pairs. This cable tester consists of two test instruments: a transmitter and a tester working in tandem. The GT66 is able to check cables for conductivity, the presence of short circuits and open circuits, as well as to determine the integrity of the cable structure. The Benetech GT66 cable tester has a manual indication volume level, capable of testing a cable over one kilometer long. A feature of this model is the choice of several modes of operation: testing, scanning with the selection of the desired speed of operation. The receiver of the cable tester is powered by a 9 V battery of the common 6F22 "crown" size, and the transmitter is powered by 3 1.5 V batteries.
