Ajax EN54 FireProtect VAD Jeweler is a wireless addressable visual alarm device (Visual Alarm Device) certified to EN 54-23 and EN 54-25 standards. The device provides an effective visual warning of fire, which is critical in noisy environments or for people with hearing impairment. After receiving an alarm signal from the system, the VAD activates a red LED frame that flashes at a frequency of 0.5 Hz in accordance with the requirements of EN 54-23. The notification is activated within 3 seconds after the fire trigger, guaranteeing timely information to the people in the room. Communication takes place through the Jeweler's protected radio protocol at the frequency of 868 MHz. The range of stable communication reaches up to 1700 m in open space. The device supports status monitoring: low battery charge, loss of communication, activation of the tamper button and other malfunctions, transmitting this data to the central device or monitoring system. The device is powered by a CR123A battery with a battery life of up to 5 years at a polling interval of 36 seconds. The additional backup battery CR2032 supports the tamper function in case of a complete discharge of the main power cell. Installation is carried out using the SmartBracket bracket without the need to disassemble the device. Adding to the system takes place via a QR code and a mobile application. LED indication allows you to quickly check the status of the device.
