The Ajax EN54 FireProtect VAD Sounder Jeweler is a wireless addressable device that combines a Sounder (Sounder) and a Visual Alarm (VAD) in one housing. The device is certified according to the standards EN 54-3 (audio alerts) and EN 54-23 (visual alerts) and guarantees an effective fire alarm even in noisy environments or for people with hearing impairments. After receiving the alarm command, the device activates a sound signal with a volume of up to 100 dB at a distance of 1 meter according to the EN 54-3 standard, and the red LED frame starts flashing with a frequency 0.5 Hz according to EN 54-23. Activation of both signals occurs simultaneously within 3 seconds after the alarm signal is received. The device works through the protected Jeweler protocol (868 MHz), which provides stable two-way communication with the central panel at a distance of up to 1700 m in open space. All events, including low battery, sabotage (tamper), loss of communication and other malfunctions, are transmitted to the central hub with accurate address identification. Power is provided by batteries CR123A (main) and CR2032 (backup for tamper), which ensures autonomous operation of the device for up to 5 years at a standard polling interval of 36 seconds. Mounting is performed using the SmartBracket bracket without the need to disassemble the device. Adding to the system takes place via a QR code in the mobile application. LED indicators allow you to quickly check the status of the device.
