EXTRADIGITAL CPL 52 mm light filter (EDFCPL5200) is a circular polarizing light filter with a diameter of 52 mm. The purpose of using a polarizing CPL filter is to eliminate (reduce the intensity of) reflections from shiny non-metallic surfaces, for example, glass showcases and windows, painted or plastic-covered surfaces, water surface, and so on.
The degree of polarization of reflected light varies when the angle of incidence of light into the lens changes. Therefore, in order to eliminate reflections from the surface with the help of a CPL light filter, it is necessary to choose the optimal shooting direction (camera position). It is practically impossible to completely get rid of glare when shooting (especially if the frame is filled with many objects).
Additional possibilities: the presence of a duplicate thread on the outside of the filter for attaching another filter or additional equipment.
