Class D amplifier
Yamaha PX10 is equipped with balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS Jack inputs and SpeakON, binding post and 1/4" Jack outputs to ensure versatility and maximum convenience of switching. The heart of the device is a new development of the company - a Class D amplifier with all the necessary functions concentrated in one special LSI chip, it has increased power and performance, as well as incredibly low weight.
Advanced functionality
The PX series amplifiers are equipped with intelligent protection that ensures reliable and safe operation. And thanks to the D-CONTOUR function - multi-band dynamic processing developed by Yamaha, which adapts the frequency response of each connected loudspeaker, they are able to provide high-quality and detailed sound at any volume level.
In addition, the PX10 is equipped with a flexible parametric equalizer, crossover, filters, delay function and limiter. All these functions can be easily and quickly adjusted thanks to the built-in LCD display.
Convenient control
The PX series amplifiers have two control modes: simple (Basic) and advanced (Advanced). Basic mode makes it easy to adjust the system configuration even for inexperienced users, and Advanced provides more precise settings of sound parameters. All models have 8 programmable presets for instant loading of settings and saving time. In addition, you can save these presets to a USB drive and use them with other PX series amplifiers.
Config Wizard mode makes it possible to reduce preparation time even more, thanks to the ability to load optimized settings designed for all current Yamaha speaker systems, including CBR, Club, Installation, and VXS /VXC. In advanced mode, you have the option of more detailed configuration settings, such as routing inputs, adjusting the sensitivity, gain and impedance of the speaker system.
Front panel lock
The PX series amplifiers allow you to easily and quickly configure all the necessary parameters, display the status of the amplifier and support data transfer via USB. In addition, they are equipped with the function of blocking the front panel (panel locking) to protect your settings from changes.
