Next Generation Performance
For a decade, the original NH-D15 was considered the best cooler on the market. The G2 version continues this legacy, improving on the renowned quiet cooling performance of its iconic predecessor. Especially in challenging environments with high thermal loads, the NH-D15 G2 can reach temperatures several degrees lower and thus offers a temperature margin that enables higher turbo frequencies.
More performance, smaller size
Thanks to the higher fin density made possible by the new NF-A14x25r G2 fans, as well as asymmetrical fin stacks and a slightly smaller stack gap, the G2 version combines improved performance with a slightly smaller size compared to the original NH-D15 (9mm less heatsink depth, same heatsink width, same overall height including fans).
8 heat pipes for superior performance under high heat loads
NH-D15 G2 uses eight heat pipes instead of six compared to the original NH-D15. The increased heat output of the additional heat pipes is especially useful for extreme heat loads such as 250W and above, where the performance gain over the original NH-D15 is the greatest.
Wide Speed Range PWM Control
The NF-A14x25r G2 PWM fans can be controlled via PWM from a maximum speed of 1500rpm. This allows you to tune them for maximum performance or near-silent operation with automatic temperature-based motherboard speed control or manual controllers such as .
Excellent component cooling
The large NF-A14x25r G2 fans located under the fins not only contribute to the excellent CPU cooling capabilities, but also provide powerful airflow over the motherboard heatsinks and components such as VRM, thus providing excellent cooling efficiency of the components.
