The Maiwo KT031B converter is designed to install an M.2 (NGFF) SSD in a laptop instead of 2.5'' SATA. Thus, it converts an M.2 (NGFF) SSD into a standard 2.5" SATA III drive. The M.2 SSD has a much higher data transfer rate than a regular 2.5" SATA HDD, and most importantly, it is impact resistant. Therefore, if your laptop suddenly falls, its weak point - the hard disk - will remain intact and safe.
Supports 3 types of M.2 (NGFF) SDD size: 22x42 mm, 22x60 mm, 22x80 mm.
SATA III data transfer speed up to 6 Gbit / s.
M.2 SSD is not included in the scope of delivery of this product controller, this M.2 SSD can be a boot drive. No drivers required.
