Maiwo K1689 external pocket is designed for solid state drives of both types - M. 2 SSD NVMe (PCIe) and M. 2 SSD SATA (NGFF) - thus this pocket supports all types of M. 2 SSDs currently available on the market. It allows you to connect an additional drive to your computer or laptop: - M. 2 SSD NVMe (PCIe) with one of the 4 popular Key sizes "M", Key "B+M": 22x30 mm, 22x42 mm, 22x60 mm, 22x80 mm or - M. 2 SSD SATA III (NGFF) with one of the 4 popular sizes Key "B", Key "B+M": 22x30 mm, 22x42 mm, 22x60 mm, 22x80 mm.

External interface for connecting the pocket to a laptop/computer USB 3.1 Gen2 - it provides a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s, backwards compatible with USB 3.0/USB 2.0 (using an additional adapter from USB Type-C to USB Type-A built into the cable).

Pocket K1689 has a thin, stylish, practical and durable aluminum case with a screwless locking mechanism - it dissipates the heat generated by the SSD drive well. This pocket will satisfy both visually and kinesthetically. The aluminum housing protects your SSD from mechanical damage and provides additional cooling for the chips located on the pocket board. Does not require additional power, connects to a computer via a USB port.

The M.2 form factor provides the possibility of increased performance with reduced resource consumption, as well as technological improvement of SSD in the future. No power cables are required to connect the SSD, the M.2 SSD drive is simply inserted into the pocket connector.
