Toshiba MG10 Series SATA III is a hard disk with a higher density of traditional magnetic recording (CMR). The drive is equipped with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface and easily integrates into standard 3.5-inch bays, which reduces the footprint and operational burden of cloud storage infrastructure, file and object storage systems, as well as business-critical servers and storage.
Toshiba's existing precision laser welding technology seals helium inside the 10-disc drive to reduce aerodynamic drag and provide a lower operating power profile. And the lower operating power profile in turn ensures excellent energy efficiency.
