Maiwo K1698P2 premium docking station is designed for both M.2 SSD NVMe (PCIe) and M.2 SSD SATA (NGFF) solid state drives. Thus, the device supports all current M.2 SSD formats on the market.
The docking station allows you to connect an additional M.2 SSD NVMe (PCIe) Key "M", Key "B+M" or M.2 SSD SATA III (NGFF) Key "B+M" drive to a computer or laptop with one of five popular sizes: 22x30 mm, 22x42 mm, 22x60mm, 22x80mm, 22x110mm.

The K1698P2 model allows you to use the SSD as an external USB drive with any laptop, PC, smartphone or tablet.
Connection is via a USB 3.2 Gen2x1 Type-C port that provides speed data transfer up to 10 Gbit/s and is backward compatible with USB 3.0 / USB 2.0.

The housing of the docking station is thin, stylish and practical, made of round plastic. The screwless design allows you to quickly insert or remove the SSD, and also promotes efficient heat dissipation. The device does not require additional power — just a USB port connection.

The M.2 form factor provides high performance with low power consumption and provides further technological development of SSD. The connection is made without power cables - the drive is simply inserted into the connector of the docking station.

The K1698P2 docking station supports UASP and TRIM protocols, which increases the speed of copying large volumes of data up to 20% and reduces the load on the processor.
Plug and Play and Hot-Plug functions allow connect the device without restarting the computer and without installing drivers.
