The pad is made of polyurethane and is the main working part. Polyurethane does not have a sliding surface. This property of polyurethane does not allow the paper to slip off the brake pad during its capture. The overlay is not eternal and tends to lose elasticity and wear out. This, in turn, leads to the fact that the printer, when feeding a sheet for printing, begins to pull several sheets at once. Brake pads require special attention and must be constantly monitored.
