Fast charging and no memory effect

Lithium batteries charge much faster than lead-acid batteries. The lack of memory effect means that the battery can be charged and discharged at any charge level without losing capacity. LiFePO4 batteries are charged with the maximum recommended current of 0.5C, where C is the capacity of the battery. For a LP LiFePO4 12.8V - 50 Ah battery, the maximum charge current should not exceed 25 A (0.5 x 50 Ah). It is important that this current does not exceed the BMS to maintain safety and extend battery life.

Durability

LiFePO4 batteries have a tremendous lifespan. They can withstand up to 7,000 discharge and charge cycles, which is several times longer than the service life of lead-acid batteries.
