Fenix ARB-L16-1150P is a brand-name Li-ion battery with a length of 34.5 mm that meets the 16340 size standard. The capacity of 1150 mAh is one of the highest in this class, so the lantern works 30-40% longer compared to ordinary batteries of a smaller capacity.
The main feature is a protection board, which is mounted directly in the positive contact (anode). In ordinary batteries, the board is located below, and along the body there is a thin conductor tape, which can fray or come off from shaking. In the ARB-L16-1150P, the board is pressed with a steel cap, so it does not come off when the lantern is dropped or subjected to strong vibration. The steel coating also protects the case from deformation when compressed by springs in the battery compartment.

- 500 cycles of full recharging. The same battery works for several years of daily use. Even after 500 charges, the device retains most of its initial capacity.
