The LBB 1938/30 is a 480W amplifier in a 3U 19" high cabinet for rack-mounting or table-top use in the Plena Voice Alarm System. LED indicators on the front panel indicate the status of the amplifier: power, output audio signal levels and control functions. This high-performance device meets the most extensive requirements for alarm systems, and has an extremely low price.
Reliability
The amplifier has overload and short-circuit protection.The temperature-controlled fan ensures high reliability at high output power and quiet operation at low output power.The overheating protection circuit shuts down the power stage and activates the LED indicator on the front panel if the internal temperature reaches a critical level due to poor ventilation or overload. The device can be operated from the mains or from a 24V backup battery, while the following functions are monitored when used for emergency and evacuation notification: the presence of power from the network, the presence of a control signal, the operation of the amplifier. The control signal and battery status indicator can be turned off when using the system for general notification purposes.
